You’ve been here before.
This feeling. This pain. This habit. This goal. This place.
Why? How? What brought me here?
I desire something else. I’m worth so much more. I deserve better.
Roiling mind. Words inside. Tension held in the body.
Breathe.
One breath.
In. Out. Try it now, if you’d like.
Eyes open. Eyes closed. You choose.
Feel your belly fill with the breath in.
Feel your heart expand with the breath out.
Or not. You choose.
Again, if you’d like.
Open your eyes if closed.
Notice the mind. Any change? The body? Note any difference.
Begin again.
It is still now, but different.
One breath, one moment, to notice the change.
